Born and raised in Calgary, I know and understand the local housing market, but more importantly, I know what makes a house feel like home. With a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education, both earned with honours, I spent years as a teacher before finding my way into real estate.
These days, I’m the proud mom of two boys, which means I’m pretty much an expert in snacks, carpools, lost water bottles and spending an unreasonable amount of time at the hockey rink. If I’m not helping my clients buy or sell a home, there’s a very good chance you’ll find me cheering on my boys in the stands, adventuring with my family, working on my golf swing, or listening to 90’s boy bands (weren’t the 90’s 10 years ago?).
Community has always been a big part of who I am. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a vice president of my community association and as an event committee chair, and I genuinely believe that where you live is about so much more than the four walls of your home.
That sense of community is also a big part of why I chose to join Grassroots Realty Group. I love that Grassroots is Alberta born and Alberta focused, and that it gives me the opportunity to connect and collaborate with REALTORS® across the province while still keeping that strong local connection. There’s something pretty special about being part of a brokerage that understands Alberta communities and the people who call them home, while also creating a network of great people to learn from, work alongside and grow with.
My teaching career, my experience as a mom, and my years in real estate have taught me how important it is to listen, ask the right questions and really understand what someone needs. Whether you’re buying your first home, investing, upsizing for a growing family or downsizing for a new chapter, I’m here to make the process feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more personal.
I’m big on doing my homework, knowing the market, respecting your wishlist and making sure you feel confident in your decisions. I’ll work hard to find the right home for you, and I promise to bring a little humour and fun along the way.
