I’ve had an interest in real estate for a long time and started buying my own rental properties. In the fall of 2017 I met with the partnership group at Grassroots shortly after they established the brokerage, having only 6 agents at the time. I thought they were headed for big things and knew it was the right place for me and my business.

Fast forward to now, fall of 2020, my PM team is now at 13, we are quickly becoming the largest PM business in town, and will soon be representing the brand in other cities. This could not have been accomplished without having a solid brand and brokerage behind us. The vision and dedication to service excellence by the whole brokerage has provided us with amazing visibility and  immediate presence in Grande Prairie. The integrity represented by Grassroots is unmatched.

I’ve been with Grassroots Realty Group from the beginning, making the transition from a small real estate brokerage as an unlicensed assistant. What drew me to Grassroots is the new twist they were placing on real estate. Being aggressively innovative, allowing freedom for creativity, encouraging team building, creating a family felt connection leading to support, and growth! I’m honoured and proud to say I’m now a Realtor® on the Yuri Smith Real Estate Team and owe many of my successes to the support I have received from the brokerage!

My parents always raised me with a mentality that if I didn’t like something, to change it. That’s what we did in 2017. After starting a successful Real Estate Career at one of the national franchises, I was tired of the lack of support, training, and  mentorship. We founded Grassroots to have a fun, positive, progressive environment where real estate professionals could take their business to the next level. I couldn’t be prouder of our team, and our partnership group is very excited to expand our dream across Alberta!

Born and raised in Grande Prairie and after several years in the industry what attracted me to join the Grassroots partnership group in 2017 was its focus on gathering local industry professionals connected within the community all with a fierce passion for real estate and a desire to change the real estate game. From our mentoring process to our innovation, technology, and creative marketing strategies we’ve accomplished just that. At Grassroots Realty Group, we just do it differently! GrassROOTS says it all. This brokerage has its meaning within its own name! Although each of us agents are in it for ourselves there is a true TEAM and everyone is willing to provide assistance, extra insight and coverage if needed. Where I love to work would be an understatement. I made the best decision over 2 years ago with joining this amazing brokerage.
