Darren Gugyelka

Darren’s real estate journey began in the spring of 2005. In his 18 years as a Realtor, Darren has helped hundreds of people, families, and investors with their real estate in Southern Alberta. Over this time, he has established himself as a leader in the industry, earning the trust of his clients and colleagues.
Born and raised between Lethbridge and Coaldale, Darren has developed a knowledge of real estate in Southern Alberta most notably in the areas of residential, commercial and acreage properties.
Over the last 18 years, Darren’s journey has seen him be successful as an independent agent as well as be a part of real estate teams. The first leg of his career saw him become a top agent at MaxWell Realty within the first 5 years of being in the business. The next leg saw him go back as an independent agent at Tiger Realty where he was able to learn alongside one of the top commercial real estate agents in Southern Alberta. His next journey saw him working on the top real estate team in Southern Alberta at Remax Lethbridge. In this time they were recognized as the number one team in the brokerage as well as being a top team in Western Canada. He also received awards individually with Remax as a top agent. He has served with the local LDAR board for many years in the capacity of a member of the Professional Standards committee.
Darren currently lives with his wife of 24 years in Coaldale where they have raised their 2 children. His involvement with his kids has seen him coach and manage basketball and hockey teams. He has volunteered numerous years on hockey boards and recently served as the President of the board at the Lethbridge Country Club where his passion for the game of golf is very noticeable.
Over the years Darren has always strived to give back to the community that has given him so much. He believes in supporting charities and the sporting community through sponsorship and volunteering. His motto has always been “if you take care of people they will take care of you”.
