About Karen Gron
Originally from Vancouver Island, Karen came to the Peace Country with a six-month plan. Fast-forward a few years, and she’s become a permanent fixture! Turns out, there’s something pretty special about the wide-open skies, hardworking people, and small-town communities of Northern Alberta.
With a background in horses, farming, and agriculture, Karen’s path to real estate wasn’t exactly traditional. Before becoming a REALTOR®, she started and operated a successful feed business, where she discovered just how much she loved building relationships, supporting local businesses, and getting creative with marketing. Naturally, real estate felt like the next step!
Today, Karen is licensed in both residential and agricultural real estate with Grassroots Realty Group. She brings a down-to-earth, honest, and low-pressure approach to the industry, combining her agricultural knowledge with a love for genuine connections. She’s a firm believer that buying or selling property should feel exciting, not intimidating.
When she’s not busy helping clients navigate the real estate market, you’ll find Karen enjoying life in the Peace Country with her partner and their two young boys. Between family adventures, volunteering with local community initiatives, and helping bring events like Christmas in Sexsmith to life, Karen loves staying connected to the community she’s proud to call home. Her partner, a fellow local business owner, shares that same passion for giving back and supporting the community where they’re raising their family.
Whether it’s your first home, a new acreage, farmland, or the next chapter for your family, Karen is here to help you find your own place to put down roots.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about real estate. It’s about the people, the connections, and the place you get to call home.
