Ray Haakstad was born and raised in the La Glace area, and moved in to Grande Prairie in the mid 90’s. It was there he started his career in the restaurant industry with Maddhatters. He eventually moved into an ownership position, forcing him to move south to Lethbridge. After 5 years in Lethbridge, he moved to Calgary, where he spent almost 10 years, until moving back home to Grande Prairie in April 2018.
Ray is thrilled to be back home and even more thrilled to be a part of the Grassroots #Movement! State of the art technologies and savvy marketing, and outside the box strategies fit his personality and excellent networking skills. He is very excited to re-establish his roots in the community and positively change people’s lives. Since becoming a Realtor®, real estate has become his passion, and would be very interested in chatting with you about anything real estate. Whether it be current market trends, the value of your home, or anything real estate.
After many years of building relationships through sport or through work, Ray is looking forward to applying his skills here in the real estate industry. Outside of real estate, Ray’s interests include various team sports (coaching Bantam AA Storm), golf (spends a ton of time at his home course – Spruce Meadows in Sexsmith), travel, laughing, smiling, and trading stories with friends and family.
